Update October 14th, 2011. The TripAlertz referral is now only $1 per person.
TripAlertz is a Groupon-like travel site. You can read a full TripAlertz review.
I’ve personally been a member for about six months.
What is TripAlertz?
Essentially, Trip Alertz lets you buy discounted travel vacation packages.
For example, there is currently a package available at Occidential Grand Cozumel. The package price is $516 for 3 nights. Not too bad because if you were to book the same package on the hotel website, you’d pay $1,010.
The price is an all-inclusive price.
If you buy the package, you have limited dates to use it (until mid December), and you have a limited time to purchase it (limited to a number of days of availability).
So it’s a pretty interesting site. I’ve never actually bought a trip with them because I usually get hotels and flights free. However, I think it is a cool way to vacation if you want to do something within the next two month window.
At least it’s worth subscribing so you can track what promotions they are offering.
Here’s the cool part.
If you refer someone, for a limited time you can get $10.
All you need to do is to sign up here (thanks if you do because I get a $10 bonus), and then get out there and tell your friends to use your link to sign up too. If you could get 50 friends to sign up for TripAlertz, you could get $500 which would basically cover a 3 night all-inclusive hotel in Mexico or the Caribbean.
If you plan to sign up, I’d love it if you used my referral link here.
