3 Limited Time Travel Deals You Don’t Want to Miss

While I usually don’t cover these types of promotions, I thought there were enough great current travel deals that I’d do a quick round up of some money saving travel opportunities for you.

Southwest 40% Sale [Expires Today]

Through the end of today (October 11th, 2012), you can save 40% on most Southwest flights between 11/28 – 12/12 and 1/7 – 2/14.

Sunday travel is excluded and there are certain city pairs that are excluded (see the full list here).

Tips:

  1. If you already have Southwest travel booked on these dates, double check the current fares.  Southwest has a do it yourself lowest fare guarantee.
  2. The 40% discount does not apply to bookings made with points, only with cash.
  3. If you might be taking a trip, you might want to go ahead and book the flight.  You’ll be able to cancel it later without a fee.  You’d then have one year from the time of booking to use the flight value towards another flight.

If you’ve got a Companion Pass, then this is a great time to hit the road.  If you don’t have a Companion Pass, then my advice is to wait until 2013 when Chase does another 50,000 point sign up bonus for both the business card and personal card.

Radisson Stay One Night Get One Free

After you register for this promotion and book a qualifying Radisson Blue or Radisson hotel between now and October 31st and stay before December 31st, 2012, you’ll be eligible to get a free night hotel certificate.  Your qualifying stay must be in the US, Canada, or the Caribbean.  Your voucher will be for the same region.

You could definitely maximize this promotion if you stay at a cheaper hotel and redeem your free night at a more expensive location. (Think New York City).

Priority Club PointBreaks

At the first of this month, Priority Club updated its PointBreaks list.  This list allows you book stays at selected hotels for only 5,000 points.  In the last few years, I’ve been able to get some amazing value out of different locations.

If you have any upcoming travel, I’d suggest you check out the list for hotel availability.
